That was amazing. I know we spoke on Skype and you talked about the number of slides you have, and I beleive you will have plenty of information for a six-minute presentation.
Is this more like a script? I created mine more or less like an outline or storyboard. Will you incorporate any other videos?
Chris, I agree your storyboard is quite an accomplishment. I am trying to envision your final video presentation. I am not a visionary. My storyboard is straight forward or at least that was the direction I thought I was taking. Six minutes goes by very quickly. Have you found material to use in your video yet?
Wanda and Andrew: Yes, I have a video planned for this storyboard. It will take out some of these slides, and incorporate a round table discussion, which I plan to tape this week at my regional conference - a place where I can get all my fellow instructors in one room for the discussion.
Actually, knowing that the time frame is only 6 minutes, there will probably be a great deal of editing involved.
Thanks for your comments. I'm eager to get this project "in the can"...as they say in Hollywood :))
Chris, you have so much information on your slides. Without a doubt you have a strong research base for your topic. I noticed however the references you place on your slide show is older than three years. Can you give me a sneak preview of the question you are going to end your presentation with? I know we have a month to edit the video. I guess in Hollywood terms I am going to have to do a complete re-shoot. Do you have authentic situations prepared to place in your video/
Actually Andrew I am planning a group round table with several teacher-colleagues. One especially has just done a dissertation on student motivation, and the others are actively involved within their own adult classes. You are right in stating that there will be a re-vamp on my video - My focus will be on the element of volition, basically because most of my research has been built on volition. Thanks for your comments. I'm hoping to see your final "shoot" too!

I have no doubt that your video will be informative and motivating. I look forward to its completion.
